Dear Friends,

I would like to thank each and every one of you for your prayers, support, and hard work as I campaigned to become your next governor. I am sorry we lost but not sorry we took the chance to try to make a difference. Someone once told me I had too much common sense to win. That might be an accurate statement.

There are many ways for people to make a difference and we did make a difference. We opened the debate about the candidates we support and why we support them. We talked about issues important to us that politicians often ignore. We met many like minded wonderful people on our travels around the state. We informed an uninformed public.

This experience has been one of the best in my life and I don't regret any part of it. The primary election is just one avenue to make changes for the better. I know I will press on in defense of my beliefs. I expect that you all will, too. I don't know what my future will bring yet but I am proud to have stood up for our beliefs, our principles and our ideas. Thank you for your trust and support.

God Bless,
Sue Jeffers and Ruthie Hendrycks
