Write a Letter of Endorsement:
Please include your first name, last initial, city, occupation, and paragraph on why you support Sue. Your comments may be used in literature on this website. If you also have a photo to include, please send a JPEG. Higher resolution is better. Send it to: endorsements@suejeffers.org
Write a letter to your newspaper Editor:
Your letter can reach thousands or millions of readers to influence public opinion.
Short and to the Point. Newspapers have word limits for letters to the editor. It's best to keep your letter to 150 words or less.
Get personal. Your letter should tell YOUR story and why Sue's plans could help you or your family.
Get Local. Remind editors how Sue's plans would help people in your local area, community, economy, etc.
Proofread. Use spell check and proofread the letter carefully to increase the chance you 'll be published.
Be sure to sign your letter and provide your mailing address and telephone number. Some newspapers contact letter writers to make sure they are "for real."
Review our fact sheets on the initiatives if you need some language and points to include in your letter.
